Liverpool return to Premier League after thrashing Porto in the Champions League First Leg game. They will be hosting West Ham at Anfield, where David Moyes has never won at Anfield (D7 L7) even with Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland. Both the teams are in good form, but Liverpool will be the one looking forward to being on top.
With just two points below second-placed Manchester United, the Reds will be looking forward to going on top and widen the gap between lower position teams. The Hammers have secured 20 points from their last 12 league games, but the manager David Moyes has a nightmare of a record at Anfield.
The Red’s last 5 games have seen them with three wins, one draw and one loss. Their recent win being the win over FC Porto in the First Leg of the Champions League.

In the last 5 league games for the Hammers, they have won only a game with 2 draws and 2 losses. Liverpool is in a terrific form and the opposition should definitely be wary of them. With Mohamed Salah performing exceptionally well, the defense of West Ham should be their strength if they are to stop the danger man.
Head To Head
Liverpool and West Ham have met many times over the previous years. The Reds have dominated in most of the games, while the Hammers are trying their best to keep up in shape. Their last 5 meetings in the Premier League and the FA Cup saw Liverpool winning twice and West Ham winning once with two games ending in a stalemate.
Earlier in the season, when these two sides met, Liverpool won over West Ham with a score of four goals to one. A brace from Mo Salah, ensured an easy win for the Reds as they cruised past the Hammers.
Liverpool almost have an injury-free lineup. Nathaniel Clyne is the only absentee, who continues his recovery after a back injury. Clyne is about three weeks away from overcoming his injury.
Manager Klopp will be sticking with his forward trio as they have been in a great form.
The Hammers have a couple of injuries to deal with lately. West Ham are deprived of Masuaku, Andy Carroll, Obiang, and Fernandes. Winston Reid is struggling with his throat infection and may not be able to make a start for the Hammers.
West Ham player Manuel Lanzini has returned to training and may be in the start for the Hammers. But he is doubtful for this clash. The playmaker had recently been linked to the Reds and is considered as a potential replacement for Coutinho.
However, with inconsistent matches, Lanzini has a lot to prove and if he is set to start the game at Anfield, he will need to be at his best.
Players To Watch
There is nothing to be said about the man in form Mo Salah. With 31 goals and 8 assists in his 37 appearances for the club, he really is a dangerous man. He seems to score every time he gets a chance, and West Ham really need to strengthen their defense to stop him.

Salah has scored a goal in each of the last 5 games and is looking to stretch this run. He is just behind of Harry Kane with a goal and he will do his best to outrun his competitor for the Golden Boot.
Marko Arnautovic is in form for the Hammers. In his 17 appearances for West Ham in the Premier League, he has scored 7 goals and 3 assists.
He is a lethal player. With his combination of speed and strength, it makes him even more dangerous. The Red’s defense really need to tighten up to match the pace of this player. He will be looking forward to scoring a goal at Anfield, which is surely no easy feat.
Liverpool vs West Ham Line Up (Predicted XI)
Liverpool Line Up (4-1-2-3)

MID: Kuoyate (CDM), Noble (CDM), Antonio (LM), Zabaleta (RM)
