Estadio de Medizorroza will entertain the matchup between home side Deportivo Alaves and Real Betis on the upcoming Monday night.
Both sides come into this game having been unsuccessful in their previous league match.
Home team Alaves put up a good fight against Real Sociedad last week but ended up in the wrong end of the score-sheet, losing 2-1 on the road.
The defeat was their sixteenth for the season, and they are sixteenth in the league as well. Fortunately for Alaves, sides below them haven’t turned up this season, and thus they stay 11 points clear of relegation.
Real Betis went on the road to Valencia with high hopes but had their hopes shattered on the pitch, returning to Betis with a 2-0 loss.
The loss means they still sit at the foot of the top half of the table with thirty-seven points on the bag.
The Verdiblancos are still close to the Europa league spots and if it weren’t for their inconsistency, they would have probably occupied one of the six European spots.
Head To Head
The last six matches played between the clubs have ended with Alaves picking up four wins while their opponents for the night have won two of them.
In their previous meeting early on this season, Real Betis came on top with a 2-0 win.
Players To Watch
The full-back has been impressive this season for Alaves managing to even score twice from the left back position. He has put in 5.1 tackles and interception a game, the most in the Alaves squad.
The young forward has only started five games for Betis but has excellent scoring record netting three in La Liga.
Abelardo has two of his full-backs injured and unavailable for the game. Left-back Hector Hernandez hasn’t featured since August of 2017 while right-back Carlos Vigaray is sidelined due to a knee injury.
Quique Setien’s Betis have five of their first team players out due to injury. Joel Campbell, Zouhair Feddal, and Antonio Sanabria have missed 49 games in between them.
Guardado suffered a muscular injury in February and is doubtful for the match.

Alaves vs Real Betis Prediction
The Blue and the Whites have a decent run of form, winning three of their last five games and come into this game with more confidence than their opponents for the match. However, Betis have the relief of survival and with the European places not yet settled, there is high motivation for the club.
The match is going to be an exciting clash as both sides will want to get back to winning ways. However, we back the home side to edge past their opponents.
Our Prediction: Deportivo Alaves 2-1 Real Betis
